At Capgemini UK we recognise that the transition from a long career break back into the workplace can be challenging. This is why we are launching our Return@Capgemini Programme in 2017 to bring talented professionals in to our organisation. The six month “returnship” programme will give meaningful experience, across our business, in a number of disciplines, with the wraparound of coaching and mentoring support, and a community of others in the same situation. We’ll be bringing in a small community of returners in May, and a larger cohort in September.
If you’re interested in joining a leading organisation in the tech sector, and have had an extended career break (typically more than two years), we’d love to hear from you if you’ve got significant experience in any of the following areas:
Project or Programme Management
Management Consulting (with experience in one or more of the following sectors: Financial Services, Utilities, Central Government, Consumer Products, Retail)
The majority of our people work full time, on a fully mobile basis around the UK, but finding the right people is our biggest priority, and we know that working full-time isn’t necessarily right for everyone. So let us know if you feel you’re a great fit for this role, and would like to work flexibly. As an example, some of our team members work four days a week, but travel across the UK during their working days. Or you might prefer to work three days a week (in a job share scenario) with travel limited to Greater London. If you are the right person to join our programme, we’ll find the right working approach for you.
How to Apply
Due to overwhelming demand, we have now closed applications for our May and September intakes of the Return@Capgemini Programme. If you would like to register your interest for a future programme, please click the link below:
What our People say
We think we have a great environment for those returning to work after a break, and you can read more about the experiences of working at Capgemini on our Women at Capgemini pages but don’t just take our word for it! Here, some of our employees who’ve returned to work after a break, and their supporters, share their experiences.
