Capgemini appoints new vice presidents in its Technology Services business

Capgemini UK plc has appointed four new vice presidents within its Technology Services business in internal promotions with immediate effect

The appointments are:

  • Danny Glover, Vice President, Central Government and Policy
  • Pradeep Mathur, Vice President of Operations, Custom Solution Development
  • Martin Scott, Vice President, Engagement Management
  • Tom Thicknesse, Vice President, Consumer Products and Retail Sectors

They also reflect the ongoing expansion of our technology services business as clients seek greater efficiency and competitiveness through the effective use of technology in a challenging economic climate.

Danny Glover is an economist by training and has developed breadth of expertise across a range of industries including shipping, finance, telecommunications and the public sector. In recent years Danny has managed significant Capgemini relationships across a number of central government departments and across a wide range of consultancy and technology delivery areas. Danny brings a depth of experience of helping customers through fundamental change programmes and ensuring a sustainable legacy to those programmes – this being the common theme of his 19-year career.

Pradeep Mathur has more than 20 years of industry expertise in selling and delivering Rightshore® based solutions. He has a first-class honours degree in computer sciences and as a programme director has delivered complex programmes and projects across the UK and India. He specialises in building services-based solutions enabled by Rightshore®. He has experience of financial services, utilities, retail and IT services industries. Since joining Capgemini, Pradeep has worked in programme management, global delivery and industrialisation, and led transformation and delivery for the custom software delivery practice. In his new role Pradeep will be the Head of Operations for the Custom Solution Delivery practice in the UK.

Martin Scott is a highly skilled programme director with a proven track record of successful engagement delivery, especially in an international context. He has strong expertise in leading complex change programmes across a wide range of sectors and has headed large diverse global teams, sustaining performance and motivation through challenging transformation engagements. His clients benefit from his rigorous focus on delivery along with his ability to respond creatively to their issues. In his new role he will lead the Engagement Management Practice in the UK with a focus on responsibility delivery across both public and private sectors. He will also continue to lead programme delivery roles within significant technology programmes.

Tom Thicknesse has worked at Capgemini for 12 years in the consumer products and retail markets, gaining broad experience spanning the company’s outsourcing, technology and consultancy services. He has also taken the lead in winning and managing several major new national and multinational customers for Capgemini UK, including many of the most famous names on the British high street and on supermarket shelves. In his earlier career he gained initial retail management experience working for the John Lewis Partnership after a period as an army officer in the Royal Green Jackets.
