Capgemini Strengthens Finance and HR Consulting with New Vice President

Capgemini Consulting UK, the management consultancy arm of Capgemini UK plc, is strengthening one of its key service offerings with the recruitment of David Ketchin as Vice President, Finance and Employee Transformation.

David joins Capgemini from Parson Consulting, where he was Lead Practice Director for the UK. He trained with KPMG as a Chartered Accountant (FCA), and spent the first part of his career in the firm leading audit and transaction services to FTSE-100 and -250 clients.  During his subsequent career with KPMG Consulting and Parson Consulting, he has supported organisations in implementing business performance management and efficient operating models across a number of industries.  He has worked extensively across Europe, the USA and the Middle East.

Rick Freeman, Divisional Head of Consulting at Capgemini UK, said: ‘Finance and Employee Transformation is one of the fastest growing areas of our consultancy business and I am delighted that David Ketchin, with his outstanding qualifications and track record, has decided to join us.’

David, whose new appointment takes effect immediately, will lead a team of Capgemini consultants whose combined experience spans most sectors of the economy and both national and multinational clients.

In a tightening economy it is important to be one of the last companies exposed by financial challenges and one of the first to demonstrate recovery.  My role is to support the CFOs of our clients in securing business control and performance management in an efficient manner. It also means ensuring that the finance function has the right capabilities and tools to play a significant role in each of these core processes.’
