Capgemini UK Recruits Four Top Professionals at VP Level

Capgemini UK plc has recruited four top-flight professionals at Vice President level following significant expansion last year in all three of its main business units - outsourcing, consulting and technology.

The appointments, which take effect immediately, are:

Ian Bryant, Vice President of Global On-Shore Transformation

Jeffrey Patton, Vice President of Lean Six Sigma Capability

Jasbir Sidhu, Vice President of Global Outsourcing, Major Accounts

Michael Withey, Vice President of European Business Process Outsourcing

Ian Bryant, Jasbir Sidhu and Michael Withey are joining the company’s outsourcing services arm while Jeffrey Patton joins Capgemini Consulting.

Ian Bryant rejoins Capgemini to lead a number of the streams within Capgemini’s global outsourcing on-shore transformation programme. The programme will focus on the three areas of industrialisation, innovation and intimacy, bringing specific and targeted areas of value to outsourcing clients and aligning Capgemini operational best practice globally. He has worked at senior level in the UK public sector, where his successful assignments include working on the merger of two major government departments and the outsourcing of their merged IT, and in the private sector.

Jeffrey Patton joins Capgemini Consulting from Celerant Consulting where he rose to the position of Director of Capabilities, Europe with a focus on process excellence, innovation, asset management and supply chain. In his new post he will take charge of Capgemini’s implementation of the Lean Six Sigma business improvement methodology. He holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Polymer Science and Technology from Manchester Metropolitan University.

Jasbir Sidhu joins Capgemini having previously worked at PwC where he held a senior role on a number of business and technology transformation programmes for major clients and led the delivery of complex assignments including large-scale, multi-platform IT programmes and operations management. He has also operated in senior interim management positions within many blue chip organisations across the banking, manufacturing, healthcare, media, retail and public sectors. He has an honours degree in physics and electronic engineering and holds an MBA from Cass Business School in the UK.

Michael Withey is a Chartered Management Accountant with a proven track record in the conception and delivery of major finance function outsourcing and transformation programmes in leading blue chip organisations.  He joins Capgemini from Xansa and has held senior and board level finance positions over the last nine years in outsourcing businesses and worked with executive boards from many industry sectors including financial services, media, oil and retail.  Mike is joining the European Business Process Outsourcing team as a senior Solution Architect for Finance and Accounting and will build on the successful growth of Capgemini’s BPO business.
