Capgemini Appoints New Vice Presidents in its Technology Services Business

Capgemini's UK's Technology Services announces the promotion of five new vice presidents reflecting the accelerating pace of change.

Capgemini UK plc has appointed five new vice presidents within its Technology Services business in internal promotions that take effect immediately. The appointments are:

Cliff Evans, Vice President of Defence Sector and Identity Management

Dave Lowson, Vice President of Enterprise Resource Planning Programmes

Sean O’Neill, Vice President, Programme Leadership

Rob Toguri, Vice President of Business Information Management

Richard Williamson, Vice President of SAP Programmes & Projects

Cliff Evans is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a PhD degree in aeronautical engineering. At Capgemini he has gained extensive experience of developing and implementing strategies and solutions for blue-chip multinationals and the public sector in areas such as CRM, HR, finance, procurement, shared services and IT, with a focus on the deployment of new processes and systems. His thought leadership articles appear regularly in the national and specialist press and he is well known as a speaker at industry and academic forums.

David Lowson has great breadth of experience in implementing successful ERP solutions in all industry sectors, in the UK and globally. Originally a production engineer, he has worked on all aspects of ERP project delivery including functional consulting, project and program management and overall solution design, with a strong focus on delivering rapid and sustainable business benefits. In his new role he will continue to drive the rapid growth of Capgemini’s ERP consultancy business including SAP.

Sean O’Neill works with his clients to ensure that major programmes deliver business success. With a first class honours degree in computer studies he has developed extensive programme leadership expertise across both the public and private sectors. He specialises in providing pragmatic, board-level advice on mission critical business and technology programmes. In his new role he will head the Programme Leadership team in the UK with a focus on client-side programme advice, programme design and mobilisation, programme success assurance, portfolio management and programme turnaround. He will also continue to play lead programme delivery roles within significant technology programmes.

Rob Toguri has extensive experience in business intelligence and data integration assignments gained in Europe and North America. Since joining Capgemini, these practices under his leadership have achieved consistent double digit growth. His deep knowledge and broad experience assists organisations across many industries on their information strategy and technology-led change programmes. In his new role Rob will lead the Business Information Management Practice in the UK and will be focused on industry-specific information strategies and solutions.

Richard Williamson has worked within the IT industry for more than 20 years and with SAP for 15 years.  An experienced project and line manager, he has led IT strategy and business change programmes supported by business application packages including SAP R/3 and Oracle.  He has worked within the utilities, charity, agrochemicals, telecoms, high-tech manufacturing, consumer products, IT services and banking industries.
