Six of our clients’ major projects shortlisted in the e-Government National Awards 2009

e-Government National Awards 2009No less than six projects from Capgemini’s major UK public sector clients have been shortlisted in the prestigious e-Government National Awards 2009 for their effectiveness in boosting efficiency or improving services for the British public. The awards are supported by the Cabinet Office and winners will be announced at a ministerial dinner in January 2010 by the Government’s Chief Information Officer, John Suffolk.

The shortlisted entries are:

  • HM Revenue & Customs – shortlisted in the ‘Central e-Government Excellence - Take-up and Usage Growth’ category for its Self Assessment Online project
  • HM Revenue & Customs – shortlisted in the ‘e-Government Excellence – Innovation in Strategy on a National Level’ category for its Modernising PAYE for Customers project
  • Learning & Skills Council - shortlisted in the ‘e-Government Excellence in Learning & Skills’ category for its National Apprenticeship Vacancy Matching Scheme (NAVMS) project
  • Ministry of Defence - shortlisted in the ‘Central e-Government Excellence - Take-up and Usage Growth’ category for its Defence Travel Online project
  • NHS Connecting for Health - shortlisted in the ‘e-Government Excellence – Leadership & Professionalism’ category for its work on Public Sector Shared Services for Communication and Collaboration
  • UK Border Agency - shortlisted in the ‘e-Government Excellence – Innovation in Strategy on a National Level’ category for its e-Borders project.
