Capgemini wins at the ComputerWeekly.com IT Blog Awards 2009, yet again!

''For the second year running the Capgemini CTO Blog picked up the CIO/IT Director award and our technology blog ‘Capping IT Off’ won the Large Corporate prize at the ComputerWeekly.com IT Blog Awards 2009.

Among the 400 blogs nominated in the CIO/IT Director category, Capgemini won the award leaving the competition miles behind. This year’s event was even larger and grander than last year making it all the more special.

Exhilarated on winning the award, Andy Mulholland, Global Chief Technology Officer, Capgemini wrote in the CTO Blog, “I was very surprised and gratified to find how many of you had all been kind enough to vote again this year for the CTOblog in the annual Computer Weekly competition, I was even more surprised to find against a strong field of nominations that we won! So many thanks to all of you who voted, Ron and I really appreciate it, and it makes it easier to try to keep up the work of coming up with good insights into this every changing industry of ours.

Another category was added this year - IT Twitter User of the Year - Capgemini’s @rickmans was runner-up.
