Announcing the 2013 World Quality Report:

Sogeti, Capgemini and Hewlett-Packard are pleased to announce the imminent release of the latest annual World Quality Report. To celebrate this release we will be holding an executive breakfast launch event on Wednesday 25th September in the rooftop bar at the Gherkin. During breakfast we will highlight the key updates from the research including the hottest topics in application quality, methodologies, tools and processes.

Speakers

  •  Brian Shea, Chief Executive Office, Sogeti UK & Ireland - Brian Shea is Corporate VP at Capgemini Group and has been CEO at Sogeti UK since 2008. Brian transitioned to Sogeti following Capgemini’s acquisition of Vizuri and has since been the driving force behind the growth of Sogeti UK’s staff and revenues, helping to grow business revenues by 400%, and establishing its position as the major player in the UK Testing Services Market. Brian became CEO of Ireland in 2012.
  • Alastair Corbett, VP & GM UK & Ireland, Hewlett-Packard Software - Alastair leads HP’s UK&I Software Business Unit and has responsibility for its strategy, the promotion and selling of the IT Performance Suite and related services. Prior to this role, Alastair led the EMEA Software Business Development team, responsible for setting the sales strategy for the EMEA business and enhancing the capability of the EMEA sales team to sell across the software portfolio. 
    Previously, Alastair was responsible for defining the new sales strategy and go-to Market models for Worldwide Software Sales.  Before that role, he successfully led the Worldwide Services Operations team for HP Software. Alastair joined HP from Peregrine as a result of the acquisition in 2005, where he had held the role of VP International Operations and was responsible for all Finance and Operations activities in EMEA and APJ.  He also led the integration activity for EMEA, as well as leading the Sales Operations function. Before moving into the Software industry in 1992, Alastair gained broad-industry experience.
    He has held senior roles in companies such as Sterling Software, ACI, AvantGO and Hypercom and has led functions across a number of disciplines ranging from Sales, Finance, Planning, Alliances and Operations.
