Business Management

The Infrastructure Services team at Capgemini are responsible for the technology environments in which our clients’ systems operate, including The Cloud, data centres and data storage solutions. Software Test Consultant

Base location: Telford

Test Consultant
Working for one of our largest clients, you will be working in a team of testers on the preparation and execution of the test phases of one or more release based projects. The work is extremely varied, very challenging and requires a good level of testing skills. Working with your Team Lead, activities include analysing customer requirements, identifying test cases, writing test scripts, test data preparation and running/recording tests, This role requires an excellent understanding of test techniques and Risk Based Testing (RBT) in order to verify outcomes against the expected results, and record results for use in audit trails, using quality processes and procedures.
Over the course of the graduate programme, you will gain exposure to a range of technologies and project work. You will also have access to a range of learning opportunities including gaining the ISTQB Foundation Course (recognised throughout the industry) and interaction with Capgemini’s test experts.You are encouraged to own your development and make full use of opportunities presented to you. This is the first step on the career path to a range of roles from Test Manager, Capability Lead, Transformation Manager to Head of Test.

Graduate Engagement Manager

We are looking for graduates to join our Delivery Management business within Infrastructure Services. This business is responsible for the delivery of services to our clients.

This key role, working in the heart of the client’s organisation, is to provide support on all areas within the services in scope, to highlight areas that are not performing to contractual targets, performing trend and root cause analysis where necessary. In addition, you will gain ownership of the remedial actions identified, taking them to completion and adding value to the client engagement.

You will be expected to contribute through contractual understanding, initiatives for service improvement, performance monitoring and revenue forecasts. Good client working relationships will be essential.

Cyber Security Graduate

Sales Associate

This role is all about client relationships. You’ll focus on a particular market – hunting opportunities where our solutions could benefit clients, and then supporting the delivery of our response. This will include liaising with clients, researching bids and working with teams right across our business. As you do, you’ll build up a broad base of knowledge for your future with us. It goes without saying that team working skills will be crucial to your success.

We do insist that you’re open minded and inquisitive and have an understanding of how IT helps our clients deliver business success. You should be ready to challenge ideas and be happy to be challenged. An eagerness to build relationships with clients and colleagues is essential and the readiness to try new things is a must too. You’ll need to be highly motivated, because, although we’ll provide support, mentorship, world-class training and outstanding opportunities, the speed and direction of your progress will ultimately be in your hands.

Business Analyst

Business Analyst
We are a small, dynamic and high performing team delivering services to projects for one of our largest clients. This role represents an opportunity to build commercial, contract and financial knowledge and to devlop skills in delivering fast moving and challenging environment.
There is also the opportunity to build relationships at senior levels both the business unit and in the wider Capgemini organisation. The key focus of the role is to support the teams selling new Rate Based Services. It will be a client facing role and will involve working with Business Managers and other engagement owners to develop and refine compelling customer propositions, whilst remaining contractually complaint to meet the disperate needs of the end buisness.
Initially focussed on more routine tasks such as managing mailboxes, generating paperwork and initial reviews, the role will expand with experience to encompass providing advice and guidance to engagement owners and providing back office support for the full range of sales opportunities (e.g. publishing opportunities through delivery and commercial reviews). Although the focus of the role is primarily around the sales support, as a small team we all pitch in with other activities. This might involve assisting with elements of the Change Programme, supporting the business unit and Worthing intranet presences using Sharepoint Technology, assisting in facilitated workshops for the business. Software Engineers

What is a Software Engineer?
Software Engineers perform requirements analysis; they then design, develop or maintain the physical application (components) or the application environment, based on the Software Architecture (models and principles). Activities include coding, integrating, implementing, installing or changing frameworks and standard components, or technical and functional application management. A Software Engineer also develops languages, methods, frameworks and tools, and/or undertakes activities in support of server-based databases in development, test and production environments.
Our Software Engineers work closely with our clients to understand their specific technical requirements, and then take responsibility for the design, development or maintenance of either the application itself, or the environment in which the application operates.
Our graduates joining us as Software Engineers have a genuine passion for their subject, from coding, through to installation and maintenance of software. They love the detail of ensuring their solutions are perfect, and the challenge of constantly seeking to develop their knowledge and expertise to provide the best possible solutions for their clients.

Who’s this for?
Our Software Engineers are passionate about coding, developing software and fundamentally understand that engineering is also about the art of developing code in the right way. They come from a Computer Science background with plenty of practical experience. They may have experience of developing their own applications and websites in their time. Maths, Physics and Engineering are excellent foundations to allow them to grasp the principles and logic of software engineering and development.

Applications Consultants

What is an Applications Consultant?
With their expertise in a specific technology environment, Applications Consultants are responsible for software-specific design and realisation, as well as testing, deployment and release management, or technical and functional application management of client-specific package based solutions (e.g. SAP, Oracle). These roles also require functional and methodological capabilities in testing and training.
Our graduates joining us as Applications Consultants are people who love to immerse themselves in their chosen technologies (including SAP and Oracle). They thrive on being technical experts, but are also passionate about the experience of their clients. They are focussed on the details which are important to their clients, love to see things through to completion, and are driven to make a difference.
SAP Applications Consultant - Who’s this for?
Most of these roles don’t require technical skills but provide an opportunity for you to use the business skills you have acquired in subjects such as Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics Execution, Systems Engineering, Transport Management, Business Studies, HR, Finance and others, to transform business and deliver great results. The ability to understand business processes, organisational structures, and to communicate effectively are key to being successful in the role.

Technical Applications Consultant

We require a technical graduate to join the Worthing based SAP Technical team. You must have an understanding of IT Development principles and lifecycle, and have a good knowledge of Office suite. You should have a technical IT degree and have good interpersonal skills to enable clarification of requirement (although internal and not generally customer-facing). You should be a quick learner and be able to pick up technical skills quickly and understand the benefit of process within the development lifecycle. The role may require some late / early working and occasional weekend working will be necessary.

Finance Applications Consultant

Finance and Controlling
We are looking for graduates to join the Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) team, SAP FICO, are core components of SAP ERP. FICO is made up of many different areas including, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Banking. As a FICO consultant, you can help a business to automate their financial processes to increase efficiencies and reduce costs. A grounded understanding of Finance and Accounting is ideal as it will enable fluid communication with the business to understand requirements.

HR Applications Consultant

We are looking for graduates to join the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) Team, which creates HR solutions that allow companies to automate their HR processes in order to recruit, develop and retain the best talent. HCM is a central component of the SAP ERP suite and comprises of Payroll, Time Management, Personnel Administration and Organization Management modules. There are also a variety of Talent Management modules available, including Recruitment and Compensation Management.
A SAP HCM Consultant at Capgemini will be working in either a primarily functional or technical capacity within our client-facing project teams. Typical roles will involve an individual on the analysis, design, build, testing and implementation of SAP HCM solutions.
