At Capgemini, we believe that active inclusion is a mindset. It’s about embracing diversity and intentionally planning for the success of all our employees, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or religion. Being an inclusive, diverse organisation is essential to support the continued success of our people, our business and our clients.
As part of our commitment to active inclusion, we are proud to work with a number of brilliant organisations and networks, both internally, and externally. These organisations include:
Stonewall: Founded to let all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people, here and abroad, know they're not alone.
Business in the Community is the Prince's Responsible Business Network. Their members (including Capgemini) work together to tackle a wide range of issues that are essential to creating a fairer society and a more sustainable future.
Business Disability Forum builds disability-smart organisations to improve business performance by increasing confidence, accessibility, productivity and profitability.
Inspiring the Future The Charity, Education and Employers runs “Inspiring the Future” which connects state schools and colleges with employers and people from the world of work. Volunteers from Apprentices to CEOs, Archaeologists to Zoologists pledge just one hour a year to volunteer in a state school or college near where they live or work to talk to young people about their job and career route.
We’re also very proud of our internal networks which have organically developed through our employees. These include:
The Women’s Business Network holds events twice a year, and encourages all employees to join sessions where we celebrate the women in our organisation, and those we work with.
CAPture STEM is a graduate-inspired initiative to break down barriers of gender inequality in the workplace, creating an in-house community for the sharing ideas of diversity and innovation.
We’re also delighted to have been recognised for our achievements with in active inclusion by a number of high profile organisations.
