Who you’ll be working with

Our SAP team supports and implements SAP Tax and Revenue Management solutions for HMRC, which is the largest implementation of its kind globally. We are a dynamic and fast moving business unit, with an expectation of further growth over the coming years to ensure that we can continue to deliver high quality SAP solutions for HMRC.

The focus of your role

The Test Lead role involves coordinating all test phases on major Releases. The work is extremely varied, very challenging and requires a good level of testing knowledge.

What you’ll do

The role will involve coordinating all test phases on one or more release based projects/programmes.
• Implementation and co-ordination of the End-to-End Assurance and Test Strategy in the systems development life cycle
• Product delivery implementation activities, managing deliverables, planning and forecasting, providing test direction for the area
• Analysing new work and changes to existing projects to estimate the effort needed and to determine people and test environment requirements
• Creating detailed test schedules, including identifying the dependencies on other areas
• Ensuring all subordinate test documentation is produced by the appropriate individual and reviewed
• Co-coordinating the completion of test stages and arranging sign-off with the client and other key stakeholders

What you’ll bring

Mandatory Skills:

OWB, ISEB Practitioner or equivalent, UNIX, Windows, SAP, SQL, Maestro, WebMethods.

Desirable Skills:

Understanding of HMRC IT systems and business processes

Business Skills:

Test Lead skills to include awareness of industry standards, Leadership and communication skills, Delegation and prioritisation skills

Automated testing skills
