Who you'll be working with

You will join a fast growing part of Capgemini’s dynamic, market leading UK SAP solution centre helping to deliver data management and migration aspects of some of the most exciting and challenging SAP solutions for clients across various industries.

The focus of your role

You will be joining our successful Finance team as a SAP Finance Delivery & Pre-sales support Consultant . You will be focusing on leading or shaping all sales activity involving SAP financials. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused SAP architect to join a successful practice and contribute to its growth. It is expected that the successful candidate will be an advisor to the Delivery Teams on the integration of the solution with other SAP Applications, external Systems, SAP modules and functionality.

What you'll do

You will be an integral part of our finance team and enable a smooth implementation by taking a flexible approach to:
• Lead or shape all of the SAP Finance team’s sales activity. This includes bid responses, developing sales collateral and content and leading client sales presentations.
• Focus on sales and sales growth with specialism in SAP financials and an overall understanding of the key end-to-end business processes, functionality and native integration in SAP.
• Work collaboratively with our sales executives, bid managers and bid and delivery teams to lead the development of finance solutions with innovative and competitive commercials. You should be able to quickly shape solutions based around SAP technology platforms including ERP, Business Suite on HANA and S/4HANA
• Focus on delivery activity. Whilst utilised on customer engagements the candidate will work in typical hands-on roles but will have the opportunity to work in strategic placements, supporting our customers to resolve key questions, develop roadmaps and business cases

What you'll bring

To get the best from this role you’ll have:

• Depth of understanding of SAP Financials, native integration and the strategic direction of SAP
• Most likely worked in a delivery role, with multiple project lifecycles completed
• Extensive experience in a pre-sales role, with the ability to be comfortable taking (and explaining) calculated risks
• Significant experience in the sales cycle, including working on large bids and working under pressure on overlapping bid responses, resource estimation and development of customer win-focused commercials
• Well developed presentation skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders including CxO community
• Ideally an understanding of integration with other SAP cloud applications e.g. Concur and Ariba and understanding the capabilities of BPC, BW-IP, other financial consolidation tools and reporting and analytics tools.
