The focus of your role

Capgemini’s Business & IT Advisory Services (BITAS) team helps CMOs and Sales Directors deliver the value expected of them by strengthening the way that their Sales & Marketing organisation works. We are looking for a number of bright, experienced, knowledgeable and dynamic consultants who can analyse the sales and marketing operating models for a client and improve them. To join our team you are likely to have worked for a leading management consultancy in a Sales & Marketing Transformation practice or have been members of internal consulting or leadership teams with responsibility for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of sales and marketing.

What you’ll do

In your work, you will be expected to deliver business consulting assignments (as well as support sales and pre-sales activities). This may include:


  • Advising on the transformation of Sales or Marketing organisations, their processes and supporting technology.
  • Overseeing and/or delivering assignments varying from individual consulting engagements to projects within larger teams.
  • Supporting all stages of our consulting-led business development process, from exploratory client meetings to finding opportunities, shaping solutions and writing/presenting proposals.
  • Developing new insights for CxOs, creating new offerings and propositions based upon them.

  • Excellent consulting skills:
    • You form strong and lasting relationships with clients and colleagues, and these interactions should be second nature to you.
    • You demonstrate intellect and clarity of thinking to move quickly to the heart of a problem or requirement.
    • You have an ability to clearly articulate and present your ideas and solutions.
  • A strong academic and continuing professional development record, and ideally a strong university background or a management qualification.
  • Sales or Marketing expertise including:
    • Examples of scale and depth in producing detailed deliverables covering organisation model, processes and governance mechanisms.
    • Designing a capability for engaging, selling and distributing to consumers, customers and distributors.
    • Experience in specification, selection and implementation of Sales or Marketing technology solutions.
    • Developing distribution, channel and account management strategies, including customer segmentation and engagement strategies.
  • Experience of working directly for, and being accountable to, CxO-level, board-level or departmental head clients (or equivalent).
