The Focus of your role

As Deputy Sales Lead you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Sales in leading the New Business Team to the achievement of new business goals

There will be particular focus on supporting the team on mid-size application deals (£2-£10m TCV) across Private Sector clients in the following industry sectors - Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, Aerospace, Defence, Travel, Transport, Telco, Media, Entertainment, Automotive, Manufacturing and Professional & Support Services.

You will
• Support the definition, establishment and execution of various Campaign activity.
• Facilitate working across various Capgemini business units to create winning sales propositions for our clients
• Contribute to and translate the sector vision and targets into a defined set of capabilities required to deliver
• Influence Apps to invest in the capabilities and offerings required - (and support recruitment as needed)
• As part of the Sector Leadership team, deliver the wider Sector objectives

What you will bring

As Deputy Sales Lead you bring your experience in supporting a team of Senior Sales leaders to ensure alignment to the Vision and deliver the in year performance in line with the strategy and set budgets
• Ability to mobilise the broader team to align with the strategic goals through regular communications and events
• Attention to detail in ensuring compliance with Sales Process & Governance
• Report on in year performance through the M Review cycles
• Confidence to act as the point of escalation on sales pursuits – active engagement in resolving disputes
• Excellent collaboration skills in ability to with the sector teams to ensure the wider Apps UK agenda is delivered
• Deputise for the Head of Sales as appropriate, Experience in solutioning, bid responses, and presenting and an ability to lead by example
• Ability to provide coaching to the New Business team through the Business Development cycle – reviews, rehearsals, challenge around the quality standard
• Hands on experience of client sponsorship / relationship management
