Who you’ll be working with

Working within the companies’ Application Services division, which covers all projects, consulting, professional services and support and maintenance of application based solutions. This includes packaged based ERP, Custom Based Solutions, both web and tradition software engineering, Data and Analytics and Business Transformation and Change that support projects.

The focus of your role

The focus your role is to manage and satisfy demand coming in from our sales team and existing projects and to facilitate the deployment of Capgemini resources onto projects. You will Identify issues affecting resourcing performance, then help to develop solutions, working with a wide variety of stakeholders, in order to support the Management Team in ensuring the business area meets its financial and non-financial targets.  

What you’ll do

  • Respond to resource requests from:

-Project and Programme Managers within and outside of the business unit

-Resource Managers from all areas of Capgemini, within the UK and internationally

  • Actively seek placement opportunities for resources coming available:

-by building relationships with the Sector interfaces

-by building relationships with other Resource Managers (from other areas of the company, within and outside of the UK)

-by identifying open opportunities within the business

  • Place consultants into roles, balancing their development needs with the needs of the business. Understanding and communicating any training needs.
  • Meet with/become familiar with the resources within the team(s) that you are responsible for, understand their career aspirations and development needs.
  • Maintain forecast information in Retain, a real time resource scheduling tool, champion the use of an internal request management tool to log demand from requestors in the business and monitor and chase resources to keep skills and cv information up to date to allow for advanced searching.
