About Us

Who you’ll be working with
Capgemini Consulting is the global strategy and transformation consulting organisation of the Capgemini Group, specialising in advising and supporting enterprises in significant transformation, from innovative strategy to execution and with an unstinting focus on results. With the new digital economy creating significant disruptions and opportunities, our global team of over 3,600 talented individuals work with leading companies and governments to master Digital Transformation, drawing on our understanding of the digital economy and our leadership in business transformation and organisational change.

Main Purpose Of Role

The focus of your role
UK Utilities companies face many pressing concerns, including regulatory change (e.g. retail market reform in the energy sector and competition in water), consumer confidence, cost control, smart metering and a changing workforce. They also have a complex infrastructure to manage, and urgently need to improve the performance of their many assets. Meanwhile, consumer expectations and technology continue to shift dramatically. Digitisation is driving a fundamental change in society that is transforming the way businesses work with their customers, supply chains and employees.

As a Managing Consultant you’ll lead our clients’ most complex enterprise wide transformations and provide expertise and assets to support transformation delivery efforts, with a specific focus on the core business change challenges that our Utilities clients are facing.

You’ll be working at the heart of medium to large scale business transformation programmes, understanding the client business, their priorities, challenges and capabilities. You’ll bring, and develop, expertise in shaping the complexity and effort of the proposed delivery solutions, and identify what will best meet our client’s requirements. You’ll be fully client facing; you’ll be initiating and developing client contact at middle or senior management levels, to support Capgemini VPs and Principals in rapidly understanding and defining business challenges and potential solutions, to build relationships and to manage / support the sale of consulting work.

You’ll be responsible for sales in excess of £500,000 per annum and have a strong desire to be part of, and contribute to, the growth and success of a top-tier consulting practice, contributing to our offers, knowledge and overall strategic goals.

You’ll be both pioneering and innovative in everything you do from delivering proposals, engaging with the client and leading delivery teams. Collaboration is at the heart of our delivery approach, and so you’ll be operating as part of highly engaged, collaborative teams, whilst bringing an empathetic, confident, and focused approach.
