About Us

We are a thought-leader in the Consumer Products and Retail Industry with a strong track record of delivery. We have a leading position in developing innovative value propositions for clients from strategy inception to assisting in execution and benefits delivery.

Main Purpose of Role

We are currently investing to further build our Consumer Products (CP) Supply Chain capability in the UK, leveraging our established track record of delivery of value for our clients in the UK and globally. As a Senior Consultant you will have a key role in delivering our most challenging assignments and in growing our capability. This therefore represents an opportunity to have a significant role and stake in the growth of our team, with all the opportunities this presents.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Consultant you’ll lead and ensure the effective delivery and timely completion of work streams and project deliverables, prioritising and organising activities appropriately. As part of this you’ll be applying the appropriate implementation approach, adapting the most relevant delivery methodologies, as well as working collaboratively with other consultants to innovate, manage knowledge and deliver successful project outcomes.

You’ll manage the emotional cycle of change, understanding and managing political, emotional and rational dimensions of change as well as bringing best practice, skills and experience to bear in delivering value for our clients.

Working with the team to drive Supply Chain strategy, consulting and technology offerings to new and existing clients, ensuring that offerings are relevant and timely. Leading from this you’ll be building a reputation and capability as a thought leader, on the subject of Supply Chain transformation in Consumer Products.

You’ll coach other team members, responding to requests for advice and opinion from clients and less experienced colleagues.

Skills and Experience

You’ll bring a good track record in the delivery of Supply Chain transformation in the Consumer Products sector with an aspiration to build capability within CP Supply Chain. You’ll also have experience of the issues faced by CP manufacturers, and the key Supply Chain challenges in this sector, along with experience of the transformation programme lifecycle from strategy through to implementation. You’ll have the following experience and personal attributes:

Experience:
• You’ll be able to demonstrate an active and well informed knowledge of the CP sector and have an opinion on key trends, as well as a history of rapid career progression with your previous employer(s).
• You’ll have a combination of Consumer Products, Supply Chain, ideally with ERP and Analytics and more general consulting experience, gained from time spent within these areas.
• You’ll bring a good knowledge of FMCG Supply Chain key issues and challenges including Strategy, Planning, Logistics, Inventory Management and overarching Supply Chain management and Analytics.
• Currently or recently working within a major consultancy or strategy organisation, you’ll have a history of shaping and leading delivery teams in major Supply Chain programmes, as well as delivering innovative but realistic solutions to client problems, defined either through their monetary value or the major impact they’ve had on the client.
• You’ll have a successful track record of contribution to sell-ons or sales pursuits and bids.

Personal attributes:
To be successful you’ll be intellectually strong with an excellent academic background, highly motivated, a self-starter, bringing a proactive, can-do attitude to project delivery, capable of working independently as well as in teams in our collaborative but sometimes demanding project environment. In fact you’ll thrive in this environment. You’ll demonstrate consulting professionalism and flexibility - you’ll be able to adjust positively to situations that involve changing tasks and/or location, shifting priorities or ambiguity.
