Main Purpose Of Role

Capgemini Consulting’s Customer Experience & Analytics practice delivers innovative customer-centric experiences and insight-led business excellence for our clients. Our Marketing Insights team is growing, and we are looking to recruit consultants who combine experience in either Consumer Products & Retail (CP&R) or Financial Services marketing expertise with consulting skills to help our clients tailor and adapt their marketing capabilities to the wants and needs of their customers through digital technology innovation and the use of data & insights.

You will have the opportunity to define, design and deliver data-driven marketing capabilities that deliver industry-leading customer experiences. You will help leading clients seize new opportunities and realise value quicker by trying new things, testing-and-learning, not being afraid to fail (quickly) and critically being able to rapidly scale and integrate successes for true competitive advantage. You’ll be involved in innovating and delivering across marketing, consumer insights, and Omni channel operations and technologies for clients.

Key Responsibilities

What you’ll do
You’ll undertake a wide variety of challenging project work, helping our clients to optimise their marketing strategies, processes, and operations to drive marketing efficiency and effectiveness across all channels. You’ll be encouraged, and have the licence, to develop new ways of delivering value. The type of work that you might get involved in will vary from:
• Assessing leading marketing organisations to identify ways in which data & analytics could improve their marketing efficiency and effectiveness
• Developing data-driven marketing strategies and approaches for marketing teams.
• Supporting the analytics team in developing modelling tools to support real-time decision making.
• Supporting client to design, build and implement analytics based solutions which meet the needs of today’s marketer.
• Delivering marketing analytics advisory services to clients.
• Developing both thought leadership points of view and new service offerings to differentiate us in the marketplace.

Skills and Experience

What you’ll bring
You’ll be a talented consultant with either Consumer Products & Retail or Financial Services marketing experience and client-facing skills looking to apply creative thinking and innovative methods to your clients’ business needs. You’ll have an understanding of how data can be used to make better marketing decisions for driving consumer engagement, eg:
• typical / potential sources of marketing data (external and internal)
• typical marketing KPIs, performance measures, and measurement techniques
• knowledge of how to interpret data to derive actionable insights
• ability to convert insights into an actionable plan
• testing and optimisation techniques
• social listening and monitoring tools/techniques
• attributes of a data-driven marketing organisation (people, skills, technology, ways of working)
You’ll bring drive and commitment to own and deliver outstanding work, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In addition, you’ll have the following experience and personal attributes:

You’ll bring experience in Consumer Marketing Insights in a major blue chip organisation or consultancy and strong knowledge of marketing strategy, planning execution, and measurement. You’ll have experience working with or for companies in the Consumer Products and/or Retail sector, or the Financial Services sector.

To be successful, you’ll have the ability to combine rigorous analysis of complex issues and the development of insights and solutions with strong general consulting skills and the ability to present and deliver to Senior Management or CXO level. You’ll be at ease working in mixed teams of colleagues and senior client executives and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to project delivery. You’ll need to be credible, with the gravitas to engage effectively with C-level / CXOs on a peer to peer basis. You’ll enjoy managing a team, providing direction and helping others to develop. In fact, you’ll thrive in this environment. You’ll demonstrate consulting professionalism and flexibility - you’ll be able to adjust positively to situations that involve changing tasks and/or location, shifting priorities or ambiguity. Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.

We offer a remuneration package which includes fixed salary, and in addition for Senior Consultant and above, you will receive variable compensation dependent on company and personal performance. We also offer flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances.
