Main Purpose Of Role

Capgemini Consulting has a strong global presence across the financial sector, working with major banks, insurers, challengers and fin techs to help them respond to the growing and complex challenges driven by risk and regulation.

Our work focuses on major elements of current (and future) regulatory focus such as:
• Conduct Risk
• FS Remediation
• Payments – specifically PSD 2
• Data - GDPR
• Structural reform (Ring Fencing) within the banking sector
• Financial crime compliance, including AML, Sanctions and other key elements of legislation / regulation
• IFRS 9,
• BCBS239; and

Key Responsibilities

We are a truly global business and we are looking to grow significantly over the coming months. We are seeking to hire Senior and Managing Consultants to build out our capability and engage further with our tier 1 accounts.

As a Senior Consultant, you’ll lead workstreams or complex processes and/or teams of consultants to address conduct risk challenges current and past. You’ll develop strong relationships with management at clients and take ownership for elements of the proposition.

As a Managing Consultant, you’ll lead the delivery of conduct risk programmes advising clients on Remediation, specifically root cause analysis, treatment strategies for customers, driving fair outcomes, robust quality assurance, and PBRs. You’ll develop existing client relationships and will be responsible for consulting sales in excess of £500,000 per annum.

At both grades, you’ll have a strong desire to be part of, and contribute to the growth and success of a top-tier consulting practice, contributing to our propositions, knowledge and overall strategic goals.

Skills and Experience

You’ll bring experience of consulting for or working in a major UK bank and with or for a Financial Services regulator. In addition, you’ll have the following experience and personal attributes:

You’ll have a track record of helping clients or employers address conduct risk issues, current and past, and sound knowledge of Remediation across a variety of processes including deep content in at least one of the following: root cause analysis, customer treatments and or quality assurance and quality control.

You’ll have very strong knowledge of MCOBs, COB and ICOBs, and ideally be CeMAP or DipFA qualified.

Whilst you will have London as an office base location, you must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as these roles may involve periods of time away from home at short notice.

Salary Details

We offer a remuneration package which includes fixed salary, and in addition for Senior Consultant and above, you will receive variable compensation dependent on company and personal performance. We also offer flexible benefits options for you to choose to suit your own personal circumstances.
