Who you'll be working with

As the Internal Communications Manager for one of Capgemini’s major accounts, you will join a creative and diverse team who play a valued role in translating business strategy and organisational priorities into tangible communications deliverables. The team, which consists of a number of Internal Communications Consultants and a small team of graphics experts, report would report into you as the Communications Manager. The team culture is supportive and open – we work in an agile fashion to collaborate effectively and work as efficiently as possible. This means flexibility is key; being adaptable and open, and seeing the success of the team as more important than individual pursuits. The work is varied and there is plenty of it!

The focus of your role

In this role, you will work with the Director for ASE, Communications and Marketing to drive the development and delivery of a clear engaging communications strategy for the Account. Working with the team, you will determine how the strategy translates into a manageable, prioritised pipeline of work.

What you'll do

• Drive cross-team Delivery Excellence: Providing direction and support to the team members and ensuring seamless delivery of high quality, timely, and impactful communications across the Account
• Maintain key stakeholder relationships: You will be working across a wide range of senior stakeholders both within the Account and across the wider UK Community as appropriate
• Deliver communications: Whilst leading the team on a day to day basis, you will also be rolling your sleeves up and delivering communications campaigns across a number of our key business areas

What you'll bring

• Excellent writing skills and a love for creating good content
• Experience of leading and developing a high achieving and results focused communications team
• Experience of providing internal communications advice, guidance and coaching to Leadership teams
• Experience of working across a broad range of media/channels, being able to harness new media effectively with a strong knowledge of how this impacts on business performance
• Knowledge of Agile methodology would be beneficial, but not essential
