Who you’ll be working with

The Infra UK Cyber Security Team has approximately 100 security and risk management professionals who are qualified and equipped to tackle our customers’ most challenging security-related concerns. Our vision is: “to become an exemplar and reference point throughout the Capgemini Group for the provision of security and risk management services”.

You will be working directly with the Security Operations Centre (SOC), a large team who deliver specific IT Security Services to a well-known client site. The team are a friendly intuitive bunch working at all different levels with a great progression rate. The Raynesway SOC is the operational aspect whilst the sister SOC based at SinFin make’s up the wider security functions.

The focus of your role

This is a broad role within the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) team as an administrator but with an analytical element, working closely with those within the team and assisting with driving forward improvements in all areas.

You will be responsible for helping the team with the smooth running of the GRC area, its processes and procedures.

What you’ll do

To be a member of the GRC team, a team who assess the deployed IT security controls and functions and who deliver specific IT security related audit and compliance services and material.

The role will be focused on supporting the GRC team members in their day-to-day work.


Tasks are likely to include:

Compiling reports and helping to collate data

Note taking during technical discussions

Ensuring any risk or compliance issues are fed into the appropriate process

Responding to high-level technical queries

Arranging visitors-to-site

Booking conference rooms and organising meetings

Aiding the team members with their risk and compliance activities

Assisting with documentation

Other requests relating to the operations of the GRC will be expected


It may also include analysis of reports to identify potential security compliance issues, liaising with 3rd party suppliers and other internal teams to progress resolution of security risk or compliance issues.

You will also liaise with the security operations centre (SOC) team to progress issues identified during cyber security incidents and investigations as being a potential risk or compliance failure.

Awareness of, or experience in, HMG Security Standards and Processes

UK Government Security Clearance is mandatory, if not already held it will need to be in place before the candidate can start. All applications for this role are subject to applicants meeting all relevant security, regulatory and compliance requirements.
