Who you’ll be working with

FAST  Digital is a key evolution in Capgemini’s digital business and the Applied Innovation Exchange is at the heart of it. Launched this year, Capgemini will offer to their clients a ‘business creative’ digital service. This approach puts our clients’ customer/consumer/client or citizen at the heart of their business enabled by digital at pace. It is a tailored approach that can transform our clients business and deliver the business change and technology to make that change possible. We will focus on those clients that need or want to go through that transformation and grab the opportunity for their customers. We have pioneered with global fashion clients, global furniture retailers; global consumer goods companies; created new banks and transformed government services. We want to make this available for all our clients across our business.

The focus of your role

The role is the digital lead for the Private sector. The sector includes Utilities& Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Travel & Transport, Media, Manufacturing and General Business Services. It is currently a £150m business with a lower than, Capgemini average, digital footprint. It is a leadership role within Fast Digital and will work closely with the other leads to shape and grow the digital business across consulting and technology, as well as working closely with. Work closely with global AIE to bring new innovation and offers to the UK
Shape AIE propositions and follow on work (that uses other AIE offers)

What you’ll do

Work with the sector leadership and Fast team to create the digital vision and strategy for the private sector
• Work with the Head of Sales and Sub-Sector Heads to enhance or create offers that are relevant and sustainable for the sector
• Direct and deliver the innovation and enhancement of the offers managing an ecosystem of digital partners
• Understand the trends, challenges and opportunities facing the clients in your market and helps sell the AIE concept to the marketplace
• Help create and deliver the market sales plan over 2 years. This includes market making as well as achieving within year targets

 

What you’ll bring

• Gravitas and exceptional client consulting skills with the ability to excite and inspire
• Sector experience in Utilities& Energy, Aerospace & Defense, Travel & Transport, Media, Manufacturing or Services
• Experience of Digital leadership and compelling “digital style”, able to use new techniques to present, pitch and respond to RF(x)’s
• Clear commercial understanding of the changes in the market, the impact on customers and the opportunity that this presents for at least two Private Sector industries (excluding financial services)
• Strong team working experience where you understand your strengths and weaknesses and what you can contribute to the team as well as what they could do to support you
