Capgemini UK received the ‘Recognized Expertise’ award for SAP HANA

Category : Awards

SAP Recognized Expertise SAP HANAThe world of SAP has changed significantly since the release of SAP HANA and the massive extension of SAP’s footprint through their acquisition programme.  This now enables businesses to further transform their core processes and deliver a new wave of business benefits as a consequence.  This places a significant responsibility on the System Integrator community to gear up for this evolution – enterprise-wide digital transformation.

SAP has recognised the level of change required within their partner community and has introduced the ‘Recognized Expertise’ (REX) accreditation for SAP HANA. This recognition is awarded to SAP Partners who meet a set of strict requirements that include having delivered SAP HANA to a number of customers, evidenced by verified client references and a minimum number of certified consultants with expertise in both SAP HANA and relevant industry sectors.

This is further recognition from SAP for Capgemini in this space, following on from the 2014 SAP Pinnacle award in the SAP HANA Adoption Partner of the Year category. It cements Capgemini’s position at the forefront of SAP HANA and the New Wave of SAP, an award firmly based on having delivered SAP HANA to our client base.

David LowsonDavid Lowson, Head of SAP at Capgemini UK, commented: Too many SAP partners seem to think that the move to SAP HANA would have happened anyway and that it’s business as usual for our customers.  At Capgemini, we recognised the opportunities for transformation very early on and our focus has been about fundamentally upskilling our SAP team. This award from SAP shows they recognise that we are ahead of the game.
