Capgemini has been named in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2015, which lists the organisations that are leading on workplace gender equality. The list is published in partnership with Opportunity Now, the workplace gender campaign from Business in the Community, and is available via the Opportunity Now website.

The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2015Capgemini UK Executive Chairman Christine Hodgson commented: “I’m very pleased that Capgemini UK is once again included in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women. It is testament to our commitment to widening the talent pool we recruit from and supporting women’s career progression. As we work towards our ambition of increasing the representation of female talent to 30%, it’s encouraging to see that our efforts are being recognised – I’m excited we are part of this positive change that the wider technology industry is going through.”

“Retaining this high profile achievement comes at an excellent time in our diversity journey, as there is real momentum within Capgemini to take our gender work to the next level," added Emma Head, HR Engagement Manager & UK Diversity Lead at Capgemini. "Our Times Top 50 success will enhance Capgemini’s external brand to attract talent and develop business, as well as drive our continued work in developing best practice employment policies and processes that will benefit both men and women.”

About The Times Top 50 Employers for Women list

All organisations within the Top 50 have demonstrated that gender equality is a key part of their business strategy, with consistent commitment to progressing women in the workplace that covers their entire organisation, not just isolated areas. Organisations submit detailed information on their internal processes, as well as external activity that promotes gender equality, diversity and inclusion and create opportunities for women in a wider context. Each entry form is stringently marked against a framework of best practice and assessed anonymously by a team of gender diversity experts within Opportunity Now.

Kathryn Nawrockyi, Opportunity Now Director, Business in the Community, said: “Congratulations to Capgemini on being included in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women 2015. They have recognised that putting inclusive behaviours at the core of what they do and making gender equality a business priority not only benefits the women they employ, but also the organisation as a whole and the clients, customers and communities they serve. Their dedication and commitment to driving change should educate and inspire other employers to make a difference, whatever their size or sector.”
