Network Rail has chosen Capgemini to implement ClickSoftware’s workforce management and rostering system in a multi-million pound deal. The system will help Network Rail to enable greater efficiency and improve safety. You can read the full press release here.
The announcement, which was issued to the media on Thursday, was picked up by a host of trade, online and vertical press, including key titles such as ComputerWorldUK, Consultant-News, Computer Weekly and Transport & Logistics.
Much of the coverage featured a quote from Jason Jago, Capgemini Account Director: “We are delighted to be entrusted with a project that is vital to the future of UK rail travel, and we look forward to providing Network Rail with a solution designed to maximise safety and efficiency while reducing costs and minimising track downtime to the benefit of the travelling public.”
