Women in the City: Capgemini's Maggie Buggie on promoting female tech talent

As the News Blog covered in October, Maggie Buggie, VP, Head of Digital Transformation Sales, Capgemini won the Technology category in Women in the City Awards 2013. International Business Times has published a video interview with Maggie in which she describes her rise in the technology sector and how mentor schemes and encouraging girls at a younger age to get into the sector is key.

Talking to IB Times' Business Editor Lianna Brinded, Maggie said: "This industry has provided me with wonderful opportunities and I am passionate about the role it plays in society and the particular contribution that women make to it."

The Women in the City awards panel said Buggie "brought her vision to reality and at the same time empowered and inspired those around her to achieve their goals as well."
