Online travel service for British forces launched

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has launched a new online service that will help British Forces personnel to book business travel online in a secure environment. The system will service 300,000 military personnel across Royal Navy, Army, Royal Air Force and MoD personnel as well as generate savings of some £35 million per annum.
Cliff said: “The project is a tremendous example of effective collaboration between the public and private sectors, and it shows how public sector services can be made faster, simpler and more user-friendly while at the same time becomng much more cost-effective.”.
