Paul Pullinger, Head of Retail Banking Sales, Capgemini praises Alliance & Leicester for hiring a senior executive to implement a new banking system.

Alliance & Leicester has promoted its IT director to the company board in move seen to ensure the roll out of its core banking platform scheduled for launch in 2010.
Paul states this is a step in the right direction and a senior executive on the board is essential to have a view of business and technology during large transformational projects.
“Whether it is an IT director or a CIO is unimportant, but the visibility across both and the authortity to make the transformation happen are essential.”
