The aim of the European Energy Markets Observatory is to analyse the main indicators within the electricity and gas markets. This allows one to monitor the supply and demand balance, measure the progress in establishing a European integrated market and follow the advancement of competition.
The report scans all the segments of the value chain and analyses the hot topics of the moment (increase of the primary energy prices, nuclear, security of supply, renewables, CO2 emissions, end-users’ tariffs, etc.), to identify the key trends of the electricity and gas industries.
