Dorset targets £8.6m annual savings in IT overhaul
Capgemini UK has been selected by Dorset County Council to overhaul its IT system.

Dorset County Council have selected Capgemini to transform its IT system with the help of SAP-based technology. The new system is expected to save the council £8.6 million in annual savings.
The new ERP system will help to improve working practices and customer service. Elaine Taylor, Director for Corporate Resources, Dorset County Council, said: “The ERP system is the backbone of our change and efficiency programme and will drive us to improve how we work.”
