Sustainability is key to supply chain development
A new study by the Global Commerce Initative and Capgemini has revealed a strong link between sustainability and the future supply chain of consumer products.

The “Future Supply Chain 2016: Serving Consumers in a Sustainable Way,” reveals new
supply chain models will have to account for sustainability criteria such as carbon
dioxide emissions reduction, reducing energy use as well as the traditional issues
of on-shelf avaliability, cost reduction and financial performance.
The study highlights a number of characteristics for the future of supply chain and how the total impact on the chain will be significant.
