Croydon Council inks £83m outsourcing deal
Capgemini has announced the extension of an IT contract with Croydon Council for a further five years.

Croydon Council & Capgemini have announced a five-year extension to for management
of internal IT operations in a deal worth over £83 million. The new deal will
see Capgemini continue to manage “4,000 desktop PCs and key finance, procurement
and customer service applications and consolidating IT departments located in
several different offices across the borough.
Nathan Every, Director of Finance and Resources at Croydon Council said that “Capgemini has already proved key in helping Croydon to achieve a step change in our IT effectiveness and overall business efficiency. After five years together the relationship is stronger than ever. They have demonstrated that they understand our needs and have been able to deliver innovative IT services on time and within budget. I am delighted that they will be continuing their good work at Croydon.”
