Outsourcing aids innovation

According to nearly three-quarters of subjects polled in the Global CIO Survey 2008 stated that outsourcing helps IT organisations focus on innovation.
“The successful IT function will transform itself into an conduit for accessing
services in the marketplace and delivering these services to users, empowering
them in their roles to achieve business goals, ” Eric states. “This will drive
an increased business worth around the IT function as an enabler of innovation
for business benefit.”
