Christmas online spending seen 15 percent higher
Mike Petevinos, Head of Retail Consulting, Capgemini discusses the latest figures showing the increase of online shopping for Christmas 2008.

The latest figures from the IMRG and Capgemini e-retail sales index revealed that a total of £13 billion pounds will be spent online by British shoppers in the fourth quarter of 2008.
“Online sales look set to ride the economic storm and continue to be the place retailers can look for growth. Getting the channel right and overcoming the delivery issues of last year will be key,” Mike commented.
