What is Human Capital Measurement?
Human Capital Measurement defines the link between people management and business performance.
Most Chief Executive Officers will agree that people are the greatest asset of their organisation but the greatest asset is difficult to value and is not recorded on the balance sheet.
Those areas of an organisation that are readily quantifiable, such as Finance and Operations, have rigorous and often standardised measures in place. The challenge of quantifying the value added by people has been considered too difficult—until now.
An effective HCM system should enable you to answer the following questions:
