Large Financial Services Organisation

Capgemini worked with a major UK financial services organisation which wanted to modernise its whole approach to regulatory reporting. The custom-designed  Mandatory Electronic Reporting (MER) system cuts down on paperwork and makes regulatory reporting simpler and easier, while at the same time tightening compliance by improving the accuracy, consistency and availability of information. Capgemini built this solution using software from Adobe and BEA. MER is designed to cope with future changes in legislation or business scope, and is also scalable beyond the 28,000 businesses currently being regulated.

British Library

Capgemini is collaborating with the British Library to design and implement a new Integrated Request Management and Delivery System (IRMDS) based on Adobe’s LiveCycle ES software. The Library holds over 150 million items and around a million new items are added each year. The Capgemini project aims to improve access to these resources dramatically for students, scholars, researchers and the general public by making the searching, ordering and delivery processes simpler, faster and more efficient.
