The public sector spends some £5bn each year on business travel. These ‘out-of-office’ expenses are spread over a wide range of areas - from employee mileage allowances to meeting room hire, hotel accommodation, planes, trains, taxis and restaurants.

This event will help public sector delegates develop smarter, leaner and more sustainable business travel and commuting.

Cliff and Andy will be presenting on how effective business travel management processes are a necessity and should be underpinned by the fundamental delivery of an intuitive web service that can helps to contain and reduce costs.

Delegates will hear of how the Ministry of Defence is using the Electronic Booking Interface Service (EBIS) to leverage its volume (generating savings of some £35 million per annum on its £300 million annual business travel spend) focus on traveller behaviour and is encouraging travellers to book simple journeys online.
