Capgemini Opens a New BPO Center in Katowice

With the addition of about 4000 sq.m. in the Atrium Building, Capgemini increases its existing delivery capacity of 2000 specialists in Business Process Outsourcing, to offer broader range of BPO services and better serve clients globally

Capgemini Polska Sp. z o.o. (“Capgemini”), a subsidiary of the Capgemini Group, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced the opening of a new office in Poland in Atrium Building in Katowice. It is the second Capgemini office in Katowice, which will be fully dedicated to Business Processes Outsourcing services.

This new investment in the Atrium Building will allow Capgemini for hiring a couple of hundreds of additional BPO specialists within the coming years. Currently the company in Poland is made up of 3,700 employees, around 1000 of whom work in Katowice in the Business Processes Outsourcing andIT Outsourcing teams.

Two floors in the Atrium Building are entirely dedicated to Capgemini Business Processes Outsourcing team to provide global clients with Finance & Accounting, Claims processing andSupply Chain Management services and Customer Care & Intelligence services.

We are continuously extending the service portfolio we offer to our clients, which results in proposing even more diversified job positions and related challenges. This second center in Katowice also enhances Capgemini’s Rightshore® strategy which offers clients – depending on their needs – the best balance between services delivered from centers in close geographical proximity and/or with cultural ties with their sites (onshore or nearshore) and services delivered from more remote centers (offshore).
