Capgemini wins the implementation of the new LHS billing platform at the telecom operator T-Mobile Netherlands BV

Capgemini has been selected to help T-Mobile migrate their billing platform.

Capgemini, one of the world’s foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced that one of its Dutch subsidiaries, Capgemini Nederland BV, has been selected to migrate the billing platform of the telecom operator T-Mobile in the Netherlands to the latest LHS software version, BSCS iX R2. The new platform aims to provide much greater flexibility and to reduce the Total Cost of Ownership[1].

This system migration is part of the strategic merger program at T-Mobile Netherlands BV and Orange Nederland NV. Capgemini will be responsible for the overall system integration of the new billing solution and the migration from the legacy BSCS solution to the new iX platform. Relying on Capgemini’s global delivery model, Rightshore®, the project will be led cooperatively onsite in the Netherlands, in Paris  and offshore in Capgemini’s Billing Centre of Excellence located in India. LHS, a long term partner of Capgemini, will provide the required customization and the necessary professional services to support this implementation as a sub-contractor to Capgemini.
