Capgemini creates 100 new jobs in Telford
10 August 2004
A hundred new IT jobs are planned for Telford by newcomers to the area, Capgemini, the company that, together with partners Fujitsu and BT, took over the development and running of the Inland Revenue’s IT systems in July. Most of the new jobs will be in the town centre and their creation will be good news for local IT professionals, many of whom will relish the chance to build a career with a company that is a global heavyweight in the IT outsourcing and consultancy arena.
The new jobs are just the start of planned growth in Capgemini’s Telford business. The vacancies are at all levels of the organisation and in all fields, including development and testing, infrastructure, project management and system architecture.
HR director, Scott McMillan says “We offer a great deal to talented and dedicated people who can help us to meet our challenging targets. We have great opportunities for interesting and fulfilling work with great training and career development programmes.”
