Dorset County Council and Capgemini UK will be implementing a council-wide change and efficiency programme aiming to save £8.6million a year.
The new system will be based on SAP technology that gives managers more up-to-date and accurate information on human resources issues and budgets. Elaine Taylor, Director for Corporate Resources, Dorset County Council states that “The ERP will replace our HR, payroll, procurement and finance systems and will enable us to reduce duplication and streamline processes, delivering major savings and repaying the investment cost.”
