Improvement Leaders Network
Keith Coleman, Vice President, Public Sector, Capgemini Consulting, will be discussing the challenges presented by the impact of recession, the current political situation and the implications for improvement leaders.

“Leading Quality Improvement” is a one-day event to launch the Improvement Foundation’s Improvement Leaders’ Network. This networking event will bring together past and current improvement programme participants interested in developing their leadership for quality improvement knowledge and skills.
Keith along with David Albury, former advisor to the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and the Department of Health will be hosting a plenary session exploring the challenges around leadership, innovation and improvement in a harsh financial climate.
Keith holds an MBA degree from the University of Witwatersrand and a BA in Political
Science. His career experience includes working as an advisor to the South African
Ministers of Trade and Industry, Transport, and Safety and Security. He is an
honorary lifetime member of the National Union of South African Students for his
human rights work and a trustee of the Nelson Mandela Legacy Trust (UK). In the
UK, Keith has worked as Director of Customer Strategy for the Department of Constitutional
Affairs and has advised several Departments and local authorities on strategy
and planning issues. While at Capgemini he has worked with the Cabinet Office
to design the Cabinet Secretary’s capability reviews of key government departments.
