Following a successful relationship since 2003, Capgemini and Croydon have extended
their contract until 2013. The new extension will see Capgemini continue to provide
support and management for the Council’s IT and telecommunications infrastructure
and networks, which include 4,000 desktop computers. In addition Capgemini will
provide consultancy expertise.
The Council said that “the agreement had in its first five years significantly improved service levels and IT efficiency, adding it now had one of the best performing council contract centres in the country”. Nathan Elvery, Director of Finance and Resources, said, “Capgemini had demonstrated that they understand our needs and have been able to deliver innovative IT services on time and within budget.”
