Capgemini along with the Prince’s Trust is organising the first ever fundraising
event with an eco theme. The event will monitor its own carbon footprint and of
the guests as well.
To match the green theme, there will be “reusable cotton goodie bags, locally sourced dinner ingredients, organic wine and a range of green alternatives to the usual taxi home.”
Amy states “The Black and White ball really is going to be a unique event. It
is the first event of its kind to monitor its carbon footprint and we will have
a real green capret thanks to Bishopbriggs Academy.”
“Capgemini works alongside The Prince’s Trust and, as a company, we are delighted to be able to take this opportunity to help change the lives of young people, but it is also about raising awarenesss of the need for environmental change and about showing being green doesn’t necessarily mean forgoing fun and luxury.”
