Online shopping 'up 38%' on 2007

New figures from the IMRG Capgemini e-retail sales index has revealed that £26.5 billion was spent online in 2008.

IMRG Capgemini e-retail sales indexThe IMRG Capgemini e-retail sales index has revealed that shoppers spent 38% more online in the first half of 2008 than last year. The new report highlights the increasing use of the online channel for shoppers to the extent where shoppers are spending 17p in every £1 online.
