Online sales soar
The IMRG Capgemini e-retail sales index has revealed that shoppers spent nearly 38% online in the first six months of 2008.

New figures show that shoppers spent more than £26.5bn this year, compared with £19.2 bn in the first half of
2007. The IMRG Capgemini e-retail sales index reveals that 1p in every £1 is spent
online.
