Capgemini to transform Gloucestershire County Council IT systems
Capgemini UK plc has been selected by Gloucestershire County Council to complete a comprehensive transformation of its IT systems as a key part of its plans for greater customer focus, higher quality services, improved efficiency and lower costs.

As part of the transformation deal, Capgemini will replace existing systems in departments such as finance, human resources, payroll and procurement with a new integrated business management information system. The programme starts this month and is scheduled for completion by October 2007.
Gloucestershire County Council have jointly identified potential significant cost savings over the five-year period 2007-2011 via the use of new technology and the streamlined business processes which the new IT will facilitate.
