Service Transformation

UK government has launched a major Service Transformation Programme to implement proposals in Sir David Varney’s report “Service Transformation: A better service for citizens and businesses, a better deal for the taxpayer”. In April this year, John Howells, Capgemini Consulting’s Vice President for Public Sector Transformation, together with the Department of Work and Pensions, IDeA and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council hosted Sir David Varney and leaders from across UK government at Capgemini’s London Accelerated Solution Centre to plan a way forward for the core face to face channel.
