Corus extends IT contract with Capgemini

Computer Weekly reports on Corus extending IT contract with Capgemini in a five-year contract extension running until 2013.

Click here to see how Capgemini works with other manufacturing clients Capgemini announced today that it has extended its current IT contract with steelmaker Corus to run until 2013 in a deal worth £26 million. Under the deal, Capgemini will manage the mainframe computers and continue to support core production, stock holding, purchasing, sales ordering and invoicing activities.

Using Capgemini’s Rightshore® strategy, teams in UK, Poland and India will work to improve service levels for the 10,000 UK Corus employees.
