Offshoring Evolution, a survey by Capgemini and ProLogis, suggests that India has moved from the traditional role of being raw material suppliers to becoming important production and service platform provider.

Roy goes on to say, “If the Indian government can provide the right investments in infrastructure for manufacturing and supply chain operations, it will soon become the destination of choice for manufacturing worldwide.”
